Relaxing Atmosphere For Relaxing Music

This is an acoustic music live bar, featuring styles of blues, soul, jazz, acoustic rock, and reggae. The friendly owner is clearly a fan of Bob Marley. Opened in 2002, unlike your usual basement venue this place is spic-and-span clean and really quite nice. The live charge is only 1000 yen (very cheap for Tokyo), with an additional drink charge (500 yen) which you can use on draft beer. No English menu is available, but popular items such as Omelette Rice, Fried Rice, Korean Chijimi, and Thai Gapao Rice (800 yen) have pictures on the menu. Otherwise just ask- the staff is very friendly. Tonight’s band was “Trio the Pooh”, a very talented jazz-blues trio who plays locally around the Chuo Line, making music-centered Koenji a necessary stop.
