MOMOTARO SUSHI

Traditional Sushi With Seasonal Specialties
[updated August 2022]

In the Koenji neighborhood for over 40 years, Momotaro Sushi has rightly earned a spot as a staple of Koenji’s food scene. Located right under the tracks of the JR Chuo Line, it is a mix between the traditional and the familiar, boasting of an extensive menu of sashimi and other seafood dishes. These include the mouthwatering Shrimp “Ebi” Miso Soup, maguro (fresh tuna), and more. The aburi (seared) salmon is also quite a treat. One of the main features of Momotaro and a big reason for its popularity is the variety of seasonal specialties such as the Eho Maki, the lucky long sushi roll served during Setsubun, the beginning of spring.
