BALI CAMPUR CAFE

Your Own Bali in Tokyo!

Located in the Look Street shopping district just south of Koenji Station, this secluded Indonesian cafe will surprise you with its authentic Balinese cuisine. The cafe is on the 2nd floor, above a yaki-tori (chicken skewer) shop. Bali Campur Cafe is run by a native Balinese man, so you can be sure authentic taste is guaranteed.
Another thing that proves its authenticity is that a lot of Indonesian residents in Japan often come to Bali Campur Cafe to satisfy their craving for spicy Indonesian food. Moreover, even among Japanese customers, this place is considered the best for the taste and price in Japan.

The lunch set is only 1,000 yen for a plate of Nasi Campur Bali (rice with mixed meat and vegetable toppings), here they even add Balinese style chicken satay and soup as an appetizer. For dinner, you don’t want to miss their specialty fried Gourami fish (freshwater fish that is hardly found in Japan). Try dipping the fish into the spicy chili sauce that comes with it.

Without going far away to Bali, you can enjoy the authentic cuisine in Japan. Be aware that this place has limited space so prior reservation is recommended if you want to come in a large group.
