From “Stamp Rally” to Samurai on Horseback!
[updated May 2020]

Hello Nishiogi is a very popular annual event in Nishi-Ogikubo. Not only the famous Mandoh Mikoshi, a palanquin procession with lots of lanterns, and Nomaoi, samurai on horseback, but also live music and other performances are held all around Nishi-Ogikubo for this traditional style event. If you participate in the Walking and Stamp Rally event in which you collect a series of stamps at designated spots, you can enter a lottery where you could win a fabulous prize.

Hello Nishiogi is usually held on the last weekend of May.
*Please note that the event has been cancelled in 2020, and current plans to resume the event are yet to be determined.
