The Vegan Cafe That Everybody Will Love!

Located on the second floor overlooking the wide street expanding toward Chosenji Temple, Meu Nota is a vegan cafe nestled in with vintage clothing stores on Etoile Dori street in Koenji. It has a relaxed and peaceful ambiance with plenty of sunlight, and the interior is decorated brightly with various flowers and green leafy plants. Meu Nota is strictly vegan meaning they do not use meat, fish, eggs, or dairy products. But not only for vegans! There are a wide range of fans such as not-so-strict vegetarians, expecting mothers and foreign visitors. Even if you are not vegan you will not be able to resist their vegan take on “Taco Rice” and various curry dishes where the spices and blend of natural ingredients is just right.

The owner-chef, who has published a vegan recipe book, creates colorful dishes. How about trying a popular whole-wheat couscous salad (890yen) with a glass of wine made from organically grown grapes (480yen)? An English menu is available.
