JAME JAM

Authentic Persian Taste and Atmosphere
[updated May 2020]

Jame Jam is a unique Tokyo restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Iranian/Persian cuisine, as the owner came to Japan over 25 years ago. Once you enter the restaurant, you will feel as though you were in a dining room in Iran, with Persian carpets, curtains and interior decor.

The food here is quite substantial, that is, lots of beef, chicken, rum flavors, but also with a lot of vegetables. The most popular Persian food is Kebab, but there are various kinds such as grilled chopped rum kebab (900 yen), grilled minced rum kebab (735 yen), and grilled vegetable kebab (735 yen). The chef also recommends the rum shank boiled with tomato (medium size 2100 yen). Jame Jam is also available to book for parties, where you can enjoy watching belly dancers at an extra charge. Jame Jam just proves that Tokyo has everything, even right here in the Ichiban Gai area of Asagaya!

For those seeking Halal food, while Jame Jam serves alcohol and cooks with rum, meat here is halal approved and there are also vegetarian options. So, when you order just be sure to tell the staff you want Halal food. The owner/chef is Muslim so you won’t have to worry.
