Tomato is a curry and stew restaurant opened in 1982 in local Ogikubo by a chef of French cuisine. The restaurant has a retro atmosphere, and the cute tomato on the sign was designed by the chef. Tomato is registered by Suginami Ward as a restaurant that serves a healthy menu, and they are well-known and loved by both young and old local residents. It is so popular there is always a long line outside, so be sure to arrive early. 36 kinds of spices are used in grain without being grounded. 12 kinds of vegetables and fruits are exquisitely mixed and create a rich taste. This is one western style curry you won’t want to miss.
