Coffee and Art Go Hand in Hand

Two stops from Shinjuku on the JR Chuo train line and a short walk north from Koenji Station bring you to Clouds Art + Coffee, where coffee and art go hand in hand. This minimalist yet warm coffee and art space offers delicious coffee and fine art by local and international artists. The owners join their passions for art and coffee to offer visitors a new alternative while visiting Koenji in the artsy Azuma Dori shopping street area. Grab a cup of Colombian, Brazilian, Kenyan or Ethiopian coffee and savor it while looking for a fine art piece to bring back home or while basking in the afternoon sun rays on the outdoor bench. The extensive coffee menu also includes cappuccino (520 yen), cafe mocha and honey latte (ice or hot, 560 yen), and also espresso (single 350 yen, double 450 yen). The art exhibitions change on a regular basis and the artist selection is both eclectic and of top quality– just another reason to make the trip over to the Suginami Ward of Tokyo.
