Top Edge Hostel is one of the newer and much needed affordable accommodations in Koenji. Conveniently situated about a 5 minutes’ walk down Look Shopping Street from both the Metro and JR train lines, you will have no lack of options for travel around Tokyo from this location. Top Edge is quiet and clean, with 10 bunk beds on 2 floors. The 2nd floor is 4 beds for female guests only and the 3rd floor is 6 beds for mixed gender. Each floor is well stocked with kettles, refrigerators, microwaves, and bathrooms. Towels and bedding are supplied, and there is also a washer and dryer available. On the 1st floor is a cafe and bar with a DJ set up for entertainment at night, cafe style food and snacks including chicken sashimi, plus an assortment of soft drinks, beer, wine and cocktails.
