Japanese Tea Expertise and International Homemade Goodness
The owner of Bunbuku Café took inspiration from her favorite hidden cafe in Paris for her very own café in Koenji, Tokyo on the used clothing-focused Look Street. Bunbuku cafe gives off not only a warm and homey atmosphere, but also gives a warm feeling with the taste of homemade food.
From the daily menu you can have a satisfying Japanese rice plate set (rice + 3 assortments) together with one Western dish. Aside from Japanese dishes, you can have either French, Italian, or even African dishes! Moreover, by ordering the set menu you can have a special discount on drinks. The desserts here are also free of additives.
The owner is also a Japanese tea instructor who possess the skills and knowledge to recommend and explain not only the benefits of each tea, but also the history and culture behind them. She has a good command of English so definitely it is a great opportunity to learn more about Japanese tea.
