Almost all izakaya offer yakitori, and many yakitori shops run like izakaya, only with less staff. Many visitors to Japan will be hesitant about the way Japanese eat just about every part of the bird, but if you are adventurous you are in for a new taste experience-- or just stick to "momo" (thigh) and "tsukune" (ground meat) and you can't go wrong.
